Dunk & Bubble was established in 1981 as a pool and spa service company. In 1988, Dunk & Bubble opened the doors to a retail store in Acton, MA to better serve their customers. As well as the full line of BioGuard® pool chemicals and SpaGuard® spa chemicals, Dunk & Bubble has an in store repair shop, hundreds of repair parts in stock and a knowledgeable staff to help you. Dunk & Bubble is open year round, operating on shortened hours in the winter months.

Partial Opening Includes:
Removal of winter plugs & assembly of filtration equipment
Restarting the pump and filter system & inspection for proper operation
Test fire of the pool heater, when applicable
Customer must prepare the pool by:
Removing the winter pool cover properly

Full Opening Includes:
Cleaning and removal of the winter cover
All the services provided in a partial opening
Rinsing of the deck area around the pool
Customer must prepare the pool by:
Removing most of the water (2" or less) and debris from a solid cover
Filling the pool to normal operating level
Leaving access to the pool & all necessary equipment
Openings do not include pool cleaning or chemicals. Please contact our office regarding "Initial Cleaning", "Vac to Waste", with any questions and for scheduling.

*Prior to our arrival the customer must have the pool clean and vacuumed. Chemical feeder or skimmer applied chlorine or bromine must have dissolved completely before closings.
Full Pool Closing Includes:
Disassembly of the filter
Removal and rinsing of filter elements or cartridg

*Prior to our arrival the customer must have the pool clean and vacuumed. Chemical feeder or skimmer applied chlorine or bromine must have dissolved completely before closings.
Full Pool Closing Includes:
Disassembly of the filter
Removal and rinsing of filter elements or cartridge, where applicable
Adding and circulating winter chemicals (priced separately)
Lowering of the water to proper level based on cover type
Winterization of all pool equipment & plumbing
Installation of winter cover
Partial Pool Closings Includes:
Winterization of all pool equipment and plumbing.
The pool must be properly prepared before our arrival. Call our office for further details.
Customer must prepare the pool by:
Add and circulate chemical needs per label instructions.
Lower the water level appx. 6" below skimmer for a solid tarp cover, 12-18" for a mesh safety cover.
Remove filter elements & cartridges, clean and store for winter, if applicable
Reassemble the filter tank leaving elements or cartridges out of filter and store for winter
Install the winter cover after we have winterized the plumbing*

Dunk & Bubble offers customers a FREE pool school at our service center, taught next to our in-ground pool. Please call in advance to reserve your spot and bring pictures of your in- ground pool and the operating system (pump and filter).

If you have reserved a spot but cannot attend, please call us to cancel 24hrs before school. Failure to do so will result in a $40.00 fee.
